We roast every Tuesday and Deliver/Ship every Wednesday. All orders must be received by 11:59 p.m. on Mondays to ensure delivery during the current week.
Ecuador holds a special place in our hearts. It was our first origin sourcing trip and was rich with experiences and people that are not easily forgotten. La Papaya was the second farm we visited on our trip and the experience was dazzling. Part eco-retreat and full-time coffee farm, Hacienda La Papya is situated outside of Cuenca at an impressive 2100 meters above sea level overlooking a river-run valley with a beauty that is hard to overstate. Juan Pena, the owner, is one of the most progressive farmers in Ecuador with incredibly innovative fertilization and processing techniques. This year's lot is exclusively Typica varietal with Matcha Green Tea, elderflower, and orange blossom notes that make for an etheral cup that, like our subjective experience of Ecuador as a whole, is simply stunning.
