The La Palma is back! Our partnership with La Palma y El Tucan in Colombia continues with their neighbors and crops program where they bring in neighboring lots and asist smaller farmers by providing the necessary facilities to process their coffees using their insanely detailed and innovating techniques. This is another lactic acid fermentation coffee meaning that they controlled the fermentation stage of processing coffee by introducing lactic acid before continuing to wash and dry the coffee in parchment. The results are in the cup- heavy grape flavors so sweet they are reminiscent of soda pop, hints of chocolate and barely ripe persimmon. Unique, rare, flavorful, and sustainable; all wonderful things when experienced in a coffee. Enjoy.
